Wine
is truely a question of personal opinions and state of mind. Ambassador Luis Tejada
Chacón from Spanish Embassy in Finland arranged a small, intimate event cathering
persons interested about the combination of food, wines and people. But that
was not all. As an appetizer highly developed cello music was involved with the
wines. Through this unique experience
one could be able to appreciate the power of music to alter your senses of
taste and smell. As a kontrubution was unique
pleasure where persons were, in a way, inside the triangle, surrounded by wines,
food and cello in three edges of triangle.
The Spanish interpreter Guadalupe López-Íñiguez played several pieces, for example J.S. Bach, accompanying the taste of several wines from Catalonia.
The Wine experts Clara Antúnez (photo) and Jaume Montanyà guided through the
experience of discovering the variances and nuances of the taste and scent of
wines according to the pieces played.
After the
music and wine testing, more classically, a dinner of Catalan dishes, were
served paired with wines from that region. In oder to get acquainted and
appreciate the diversity and richness of Catalan wines.
